Welcome to Mobile Motion Challenge
Control the robot using the movement of your smartphone.
This optional challenge lets you control the simulated robot using your phone’s motion sensors instead of the standard control buttons.
Tilt and rotate your smartphone to guide the robotic arm while watching its movement on screen.
Your goal is to complete a Pick & Place task using motion control while maintaining precision and smooth movement.
This challenge is optional and does not affect your simulator qualification or your Real Robot access.
Move your smartphone slowly and deliberately. Small phone movements produce controlled robot movements. Return the phone to the neutral position whenever you want to stop the robot.
MOBILE MOTION CHALLENGE — YOUR TASK
Mission Steps:
- Hold your smartphone with both hands in a comfortable position.
- Allow motion sensor access and calibrate the neutral position.
- Tilt your phone slowly to move the robotic arm toward the object.
- Align the gripper carefully above the object.
- Use the on-screen button to close the gripper and pick up the object.
- Guide the robot toward the target area using smooth phone movements.
- Position the object inside the target area.
- Use the on-screen button to open the gripper and release the object.
- Return your phone to the neutral position to stop the robot.
Complete all steps without collisions.
